Community Project Volunteer
Community Project Volunteer
Do you want to make a real difference in your community and be part of something positive? Our Youth Centre in Dunston is looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to support a range of community projects designed to bring people together and improve the local area.
This is more than just helping out. Your time and effort will directly contribute to creating a cleaner, greener, and more connected community. From taking part in litter picks and community gardening, to helping create artwork for local exhibits and showcases, your involvement will help shape meaningful projects that local people can be proud of.
As a Community Project Volunteer, you’ll work alongside our staff team and other volunteers to support the planning and delivery of different activities. Each project will be different, giving you the chance to get involved in a variety of hands-on experiences. Whether you enjoy being outdoors, getting creative, or working as part of a team, there’s a place for you here.
If you’ve got ideas for community projects, we want to hear them. You’ll have the opportunity to work with others to develop your ideas and help bring them to life, making a real impact in your local area.
Community work days and project details will be shared in advance, and there is no minimum time commitment. We simply ask that volunteers are dependable and communicate clearly about their availability. Whether you’re looking to build experience, meet new people, or give something back, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note: This role requires an enhanced DBS check, and preference will be given to those already on the DBS Update Service. Come get involved and help make a positive impact in your community.
